Heap buffer overflow in Tuxera NTFS-3G before 2021.8.22 allows local users to execute code via a crafted NTFS inode pathname. The inode-pathname parser accepts malformed NTFS metadata and writes beyond its heap allocation; the responsible function is not public. Exploitation requires a malicious NTFS image and either a setuid-root binary or automatically processed physical media, with memory disclosure, process crashes, or privileged code execution as outcomes.
