Authenticated remote code execution
Published Mar 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper input validation in SolarWinds Web Help Desk 12.7.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. An undisclosed input accepts unsanitized data, and the application processes it in a way that reaches code execution; SolarWinds has not identified the field or handler. A valid application account and network access to the web interface are required before attacker-controlled code reaches the server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
