Information disclosure via enabled ASP.NET debugging
Published Oct 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
ASP.NET debug misconfiguration in SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server 9.7.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information. Kiwi Syslog Web Access ships with ASP.NET debugging enabled, causing compilation to retain extra debugger information that supports close monitoring and control of application execution. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation requires a successful remote debugging session and is limited to disclosed web application and infrastructure details.
