CVE-2021-35227

Information disclosure via plaintext RabbitMQ management traffic

Published Oct 21, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cleartext transmission in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager 2020.2.6 and earlier allows local users to read RabbitMQ management traffic. The bundled RabbitMQ plugin enables its management interface over HTTP and provides no option to configure HTTPS, leaving requests and responses unencrypted. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and high complexity, and the vendor assessment limits the consequence to confidentiality loss.
