CVE-2021-35220

Authenticated command execution via EmailWebPage API

Published Aug 31, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Command injection in SolarWinds Orion Platform 2020.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The EmailWebPage API processes attacker-controlled Alerts Settings content as an operating-system command, but the vendor has not disclosed the affected parameter or function. The required Alerting Mgmt permission limits reachability, while successful exploitation gives command execution on the platform server.
