Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon Core allows local users to alter IO-space xPU resource-group permissions. The Core accepts unvalidated requests from the non-secure region and applies them to permissions protecting xPU-controlled IO space. Exploitation crosses the secure-world boundary and enables access to, modification of, or interruption of protected resources without physical access or user interaction.
