Out-of-bounds write in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera drivers allows local users with high privileges to corrupt kernel memory via crafted input. The cam_jpeg_mgr_prepare_hw_update function fails to reject invalid camera JPEG hardware-update data before writing beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires local high-privilege access on an affected chipset and can compromise data or interrupt the device within the driver's security scope.
