Address manipulation via unchecked range merging
Published Sep 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon Connectivity and Snapdragon Mobile allows physically proximate attackers to manipulate addresses. While APP-S configures a resource group, its range-merging logic accepts manipulated address ranges originating from APP-NS. Physical proximity and no authentication are required; the public bulletin does not specify how the manipulated address changes device behavior.
