CVE-2021-35102

Local memory exposure via unchecked NAI length

Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon data modems allows local users to access memory beyond an NAI buffer loaded from EFS. The modem reads the Network Access Identifier from Embedded File System storage without validating its length against the receiving buffer. Low privileges and no user interaction are required; successful exploitation can expose data, corrupt modem state, or interrupt connectivity.
