Memory corruption in Snapdragon PCM routing on listed chipsets allows local users with high privileges to corrupt process memory via a session ID. The proprietary PCM routing process fails to validate a supplied session identifier before using it in an audio pointer-offset operation. Exploitation requires high local privileges and can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability, but Qualcomm has not disclosed whether code execution is possible.
