Network-triggered modem denial of service
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem components allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted counter-check DLM handling. The modem performs improper memory allocation while processing untrusted counter-check DLM data, exhausting or corrupting resources needed for service. The CVSS record requires no privileges or user interaction, and the reported consequence is service interruption without confidentiality or integrity impact.
