CVE-2021-35050Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via reversibly encrypted UID values

Published Jun 25, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Credential exposure in Fidelis Network and Fidelis Deception before 9.3.3 allows attackers with CommandPost access to recover logins. The CommandPost database stores hex-encoded UID values produced by reversible encryption of concatenated usernames and passwords. Database access is required; decoding a UID reveals credentials usable to authenticate to the CommandPost web application.
