CVE-2021-35047Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command injection via CLI

Published Jun 25, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

OS command injection in Fidelis Network and Deception before 9.3.7 and 9.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute root commands via the CLI. CommandPost, Collector, and Sensor components pass attacker-controlled CLI input into command execution without adequate neutralization, enabling commands on the component and neighboring Fidelis systems. User-level CLI access is required; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability at root privilege.
