Directory traversal in the web server of Zyxel ZyWALL VPN2S Firmware 1.12 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data via a crafted URL. The zhttpd web server accepts dot-dot character sequences without adequate URL sanitization, allowing the resolved path to leave its intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of files accessible to the web server.
