Code execution via unchecked annotation object bounds
Published May 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit PDF Reader and PDF Editor allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious PDF annotation. Annotation-object parsing fails to validate user-controlled data before reading beyond the end of an allocated object. The target must open a malicious file or visit a malicious page, after which code runs in the current application process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
