Code execution via unvalidated JT file data
Published Jan 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Memory corruption in the JT parser of Bentley Systems Bentley View 10.15.0.75 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted file. The JT parser fails to validate user-supplied data before memory operations, producing a memory-corruption condition. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open a malicious JT file, after which code runs in the current process.
