Code execution via JT parser out-of-bounds write
Published Jan 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Bentley Systems Bentley View 10.15.0.75 allows remote attackers to execute code after a user opens a crafted JT file. The JT file parser writes crafted data past the end of an allocated buffer. Opening the file is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the context of the current process.
