Information disclosure via J2K out-of-bounds read
Published Jan 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Bentley View 10.15.0.75 allows remote attackers to disclose process data through a crafted J2K file. The J2K parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosure can support chained code execution.
