Privilege escalation in Parallels Desktop 16.1.3-49160 allows local users to execute arbitrary code in the hypervisor context. The Toolgate component fails to validate user-supplied data before using it to size a memory allocation, allowing an excessive allocation. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution inside a target guest and crosses the guest boundary into the hypervisor.
