CVE-2021-34860

Information disclosure via unchecked getpage path

Published Oct 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Path traversal in D-Link DAP-2020 1.01rc001 allows network-adjacent attackers to read sensitive files without authentication. The webproc endpoint passes the user-controlled getpage path into file operations without validating that it remains within the intended directory. Network adjacency is required; successful exploitation reads files available to the root-context service without reported write access or service interruption.
