Code execution or reload via malformed LLDP packets

Buffer overflow in Cisco Small Business 220 Series Smart Switches allows attackers to execute code or force a reload via LLDP packets. The LLDP message parser applies insufficient boundary checks to attacker-controlled Layer 2 frames before processing their contents. LLDP is enabled by default on LAN ports, but exploitation requires access to the same Layer 2 broadcast domain and can interrupt switching.
