Improper authorization in Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem before 8-202108 allows remote authenticated users to alter protected records. The web UI permits System User and System Operator roles to access web resources without enforcing the required role capabilities. A valid low-privilege account is required; successful access permits unauthorized creation, reading, updating, or deletion of records and settings.
