Authenticated file disclosure via missing download RBAC
Published Sep 2, 2021 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Information disclosure in Cisco Nexus Insights before 6.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to download restricted web application files. The web UI's directory-listing and download functions omit the RBAC filters needed to restrict file download actions. Valid device credentials are required; the default configuration exposes file confidentiality, with no reported write or service impact.
