Email-processing halt via crafted-message CPU exhaustion

Denial of service in Cisco Secure Email Gateway allows remote attackers to halt email processing by sending a crafted email. The AsyncOS email scanning algorithm insufficiently validates incoming email content, allowing a crafted message to consume all available CPU for an extended period. No authentication or user interaction is required; the resulting resource exhaustion prevents the appliance from processing other email.
