Reflected script execution via unsanitized text input
Published Aug 16, 2021 · Updated May 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in TypoFR 0.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to run arbitrary script in a visitor's browser via crafted text input. The text function in vendor/Org_Heigl/Hyphenator/index.php places attacker-controlled text into its HTTP response without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a visitor to follow an attacker-crafted request, after which the script runs in the site's origin and can read or modify browser-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
