Published Aug 16, 2021 · Updated May 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in Followistic Smart Email Alerts 1.0.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via the api_key parameter. The settings view reflects api_key input into the generated page without neutralizing executable web content. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted request, after which the script runs in that victim's browser context and can read or alter page data.
