Reflected XSS via improperly encoded request URI
Published Jul 30, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Reflected XSS in GTranslate Pro and Enterprise before 2.8.65 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted request URI. The gtranslate_request_uri_var function applies addslashes to $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] and then echoes it into every page without context-appropriate output encoding. Execution requires a victim using Internet Explorer 9 or earlier or another atypical client, or a man-in-the-middle attacker able to modify the request in transit.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
