CVE-2021-34615Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via web management injection

Published Jul 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Command injection in HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Policy Manager affected releases allows remote authenticated users to run host commands. The web-based management interface passes attacker-controlled input to an underlying command-execution path without adequate neutralization, although HPE has not disclosed the affected request or code locus. Access to a highly privileged management account is required, and successful exploitation runs commands as a low-privileged OS user, producing partial system compromise.
