CVE-2021-34601Network attack vector

Administrative access via hard-coded SSH password

Published Apr 27, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Hard-coded SSH credentials in Bender CC612, CC613, ICC15xx, and ICC16xx firmware before 5.20.2 allow remote attackers administrative access. The firmware embeds a fixed SSH password whose acceptance bypasses the controller's normal credential check. Network access to the controller is sufficient, and successful authentication grants administrative access to the web interface.
