Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped configuration values
Published Apr 27, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Bender CC612, CC613, ICC15xx, and ICC16xx firmware allows remote authenticated users to inject HTML. The web interface stores attacker-supplied HTML in configuration values and renders those values without output escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated configuration user and a later viewer, allowing script execution in that viewer's browser with bounded confidentiality and integrity effects.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
