CVE-2021-3458

Unauthorized setting changes via unauthenticated configuration portal

Published Aug 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Authentication bypass in Minim MM1000 MoCA Adapter 1.0.0.8 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to modify adapter settings. The device exposes its configuration portal without requiring authentication before accepting configuration changes. Access requires a direct connection to the adapter, and the bounded impact is unauthorized configuration modification rather than data disclosure.
