CVE-2021-34579Network attack vector

Unauthenticated configuration profile disclosure

Published Nov 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025

Improper privilege management in Phoenix Contact FL MGUARD DM 1.12.0 and 1.13.0 allows remote attackers to read configuration profiles via Apache. The bundled Apache server grants unauthenticated access to the ATV profile location even when installation configured username-and-password protection. Network access to that server is sufficient, and exposed profiles can contain IPsec private keys; no configuration changes or service interruption are described.
