CVE-2021-34426

Command execution via attacker-writable Git repository

Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Command injection in Keybase Client for Windows before 5.6.0 allows attackers to execute Windows commands through a writable Git repository. Zoom has not published how the keybase git lfs-config path converts repository-controlled data into an executable Windows command. Exploitation requires an attacker-writable repository and a user to run the command from that repository; resulting commands run with that user's rights.
