CVE-2021-3442Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via unvalidated text boxes

Published Aug 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Red Hat OpenShift API Management 2.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through text-box input. Multiple 3scale text boxes fail to validate user input, but Red Hat has not identified the affected fields or disclosed the rendering path. A valid account is required; injected script can expose data and alter content in the application's security context.
