CVE-2021-34417Network attack vector

Administrator command execution via unvalidated proxy password

Published Nov 11, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Command injection in Zoom on-premises connectors allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the administrative web portal. The network proxy page fails to validate the submitted proxy password before using it in the proxy-configuration operation, allowing injected command syntax to reach command execution. The attacker must hold web portal administrator access; Zoom identifies root-level execution in the MMR, while the other listed connectors have command-injection exposure.
