Shared-library injection in NVIDIA Data Center GPU Manager before 2.2.9 allows local users to execute code in the DCGM server. The DIAG module permits a user-supplied shared library to be injected into the server; NVIDIA has not disclosed the responsible function or validation failure. A low-privileged local account can gain the server's usual root privileges, read or alter protected data, or crash the service.
