Code execution via MB2 heap metadata corruption
Published Jun 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Heap overflow in NVIDIA Jetson MB2 before Jetson Linux 32.5.1 allows local users to execute code, disclose data, or interrupt boot. During secure boot, MB2 overflows heap storage and corrupts allocator metadata through an operation that NVIDIA has not further disclosed. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and high-complexity conditions; successful attacks can run code, expose information, or cause denial of service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
