Privilege escalation via unchecked HDCP command bounds
Published Jun 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper bounds checking in NVIDIA Jetson Trusty before 32.5.1 allows local users to disclose data, interrupt service, or elevate privileges. The HDCP service trusted application processes command 11 without restricting operations to the bounds of its memory buffer. Exploitation requires high local privileges and user interaction; successful abuse can expose memory, interrupt the service, or gain privileges across the Trusty boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
