Stack protection failure in Trusty on NVIDIA Jetson before 32.5.1 allows local users to trigger overflow impacts in trusted applications. Every Trusty trusted application uses a non-randomized stack cookie, leaving stack-overflow protection predictable instead of assigning each execution an independent guard value. Exploitation requires high local privileges and user interaction; successful abuse discloses protected information, elevates privileges, or interrupts service.
