Reflected XSS via unescaped logout redirect
Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Accela Civic Platform 20.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via successURL. The ssoAdapter/logoutAction.do response places successURL inside a JavaScript document.location assignment without neutralizing script syntax. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted request, and Accela disputes reproducibility because configurable security flags can block the reported behavior.
