Stored script execution via undisclosed input handling
Published Oct 1, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored XSS in QNAP Photo Station before 5.4.10, 5.7.13, and 6.0.18 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. QNAP has not published the affected request, parameter, or storage and output path that fails to neutralize attacker-controlled content. A low-privileged account and victim interaction are required; successful exploitation executes stored script in the victim's browser, exposing or altering Photo Station data within that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
