Stack-based buffer overflow in QNAP NVR Storage Expansion before 1.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over a network. QNAP has not disclosed the affected function, protocol field, or unsafe operation that writes attacker-controlled data beyond the stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can compromise data and interrupt services on the NAS.
