CVE-2021-3414Network attack vector

Cross-organization access via overbroad permission grants

Published Aug 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper permission preservation in Red Hat Satellite 6.7 allows remote authenticated users to view and manage other organizations. The permission-assignment logic incorrectly supplements requested granular organization grants with broader authorization to other organizations. An existing account and an administrator-issued granular role are required, and the resulting access exposes and permits management of data outside the assigned organization.
