Authenticated PHP code execution via unsafe ZIP extraction
Published Jun 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Arbitrary code execution in LaikeTui 3.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through a crafted ZIP upload. The payment endpoint at index.php?module=system&action=pay extracts archive entries without filtering dangerous file types or cross-directory paths, allowing a PHP file to be placed under the web application. Administrative-backend access is required, after which requesting the extracted file executes attacker-controlled code in the web server context.
