CVE-2021-3412Network attack vector

Account access via unrestricted login attempts

Published Jun 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper brute-force protection in all Red Hat 3scale developer portal versions allows remote attackers to bypass login controls. The portal's username-and-password sign-in flow does not restrict repeated authentication attempts against an account. No prior access or user interaction is required, and a successful password guess exposes the victim account's privileged information.
