User-assisted remote code execution
Published Apr 19, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Buffer overflow in Qihoo 360 Safe Browser and Chrome allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted link. Qihoo 360 has not published the affected code locus or unchecked copy operation, and the researcher states that technical details remain private. Browser exploitation requires a user to open the link; the related Safeguard and Total Security flaws require local code execution and allow persistent control by evading antivirus scans.
