Local privilege escalation via improper buffer restrictions

Improper buffer restrictions in Intel Wireless Bluetooth and Killer Bluetooth firmware before 22.120 allow local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies improper buffer restrictions in the device firmware but does not disclose the affected routine or the input that crosses its buffer boundary. Exploitation requires authenticated, low-privilege local access and can cross a security boundary to alter protected state, with limited disclosure and service interruption also reflected in Intel's assessment.
