Stack overflow in Gitea 1.9.0 through 1.13.1 on Windows allows remote attackers to crash the service through a crafted file path. GetClosestParentWithFiles recursively applies OS-native filepath.Dir rather than URL-style path.Dir to repository paths, preventing some Windows paths from reaching a terminating parent. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is limited to a service crash.
