Authenticated code execution via unblocked PHP backticks
Published Nov 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Code injection in Dolibarr 13.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP and operating system commands through the website builder. The website source-update path accepts PHP page content and blocks named execution functions but fails to reject backtick shell-execution syntax. An authenticated session with permission to edit website content is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the web server's privileges.
