Cross-site scripting in ansi_up before 5.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted OSC hyperlink URL. The process_hyperlink function places pkt.url in a double-quoted href after escape_txt_for_html omits double quotes, letting a quote inject event-handler attributes. Execution requires an application to render converted attacker-controlled ANSI text as HTML and a user to interact with the generated link.
